Maryam is a second-year university student who is focused on pursuing her BBA whilst retaining a passion for volunteering and engaging within her community. She is excited to work hard with others and make a difference in the community whilst actively trying to engage with and bridge the gap between diverse groups via volunteering at her university’s MSA where Maryam helps with awareness and student connection events. Maryam’s goals for DiwaliFest are to expand others’ understanding of different cultures whilst increasing her own knowledge by helping to create a comfortable and entertaining environment everyone can enjoy.
