Vicki is a BCIT student pursuing a Certificate in Business Management, with completed Associate Certificates in Global Business Studies and Public Relations. Her work with Diwali Fest Society includes volunteer coordination, event logistics, and mentoring emerging leaders.
She has mentored a master’s student through the Society, deepening her commitment to intergenerational collaboration and ethical outreach. Rooted in lived experience and guided by the mentorship of Gurdeep Birdi and Sahil Bhrany, Vicki’s leadership reflects quiet resilience and a belief in joyful recognition. She brings warmth, precision, and a deep commitment to community connection.
Beyond Diwali Fest, she is dedicated to public safety and emergency readiness, with volunteer contributions to Community Awareness and Public Safety initiatives, the UNDRIP and UN Biodiversity Conferences, and the Canadian Red Cross. Vicki continues to grow her skills in strategic coordination and public advocacy, with a vision for inclusive leadership in emergency response and cultural outreach.
